I don’t often make a mashup just to make one. Typically I have a full length mix in progress, and I craft a few mashup tracks with the intent to mix them with everything else. However, I was listening to Virgin Magnetic Material’s excellent remix of “Overkill” by Men at Work and it struck me that I could speed it up a little and make it ready for a drum ‘n’ bass backing beat. So I did just that, using a solid banger from Klute’s debut album.
